The following example is of a program provided to skilled job shop machinists to keep the cost down for a 1 piece run quantity.
Heavy machining on a manual Dorries vertical boring machine (VBM) retro-fitted with a Fagor 8055 control unit.
1600mm (63") table, 2032mm (80") swing and 1145mm (45") under rail. Manual tool change.
CNC programmed off-site and supported on-line $45.00 per hour.
